Pretty In Pink

These pink darlings (purchased at Macy’s) are just the right shoe for this wonderful weather day! I started my day @ 5:30 AM driving to Staten Island for a 7 AM Staten Island Business Council meeting. I stopped in at the office to return some calls and then went to visit with my mother for a little while. I then went to Fast Signs to pick up my signs for my new commercial rental listings. Headed back to the office, spoke with 1 of my homeowner’s who just went in to contract on her Condo and found out her specifications for her new home search, did some research for her and will schedule the showings for Friday. Had a closing @ 2 PM. After the closing I’m going to grab a bite to eat with Frank, then I’ll be back to the office to make the balance of my phone calls and then it’s back to the beach house with Frank & the grandkids. Another day on the beach with my grandkids, relaxing and enjoying the sound of their laughter. After a beautiful weekend of weather, the humidity is back today and thunderstorms are expected. All phone work today. I had my feet in the sand communicating from the shoreline of Lavalette, NJ on my cell phone, packing it all up and headed back toward the house now. Waiting on a few calls back to try and schedule some closings this week.  Spoke with a past client that wants to do some more business with me, and I received a call from a new agent that wants to come on board.  A good way to start the week. Solid Rubber Boots

What would we do without rain boots? I wouldn't step outside on a day like this without mine! My first appointment was at the office this morning at 8:30AM and then I headed out to New Jersey for two appointments. Good thing I decided on rain boots because Victory Boulevard looks like a river and I would not be able to get to my car without them. I'm now off to two more appointments in Staten Island on my listings and then back to the office for a few hours to make some phone calls and fill out paperwork before I travel back to Jersey for the third time today. Rainy Polka Dot Thursday

I love polka dots, even on my rain boots. It's a rainy day in Jersey, you would think that means less distraction because I wouldn't be wishing I was on the beach taking in some sun and relaxing but all that means is grandchildren anxiously waiting for the rain to stop from inside the house. I wish the sun would come out! I'll be back in the office tomorrow (or not really IN the office) because I have appointments all day. Checkered Bow Heels

Another good pair for any woman the heel is not too much to handle. Working from the beach house today trying to fill up my Friday schedule. I've sent out at least ten emails today to buyers so that I can show them the homes that they are interested in. I've also been following up with attorneys on the sales of my listings. A vacation is never really a vacation in the Real Estate world. The phone is always ringing and the emails are always coming in. The rain has stopped but it doesn't look like it's for good. Green Butterflies

Still on Staten Island today. I can't wait to get back to my grandchildren down the shore. These butterfly heels are great for summer, they are bright and have a rubber bottom to prevent any slipping. I woke up early to see my mother at her place and then went to a board meeting at the Staten Island Board of Realtors. I then went to a wake for a friend's son. Our prayers are with their family. Embellished T-strap Heels

This small heel makes it easy for anyone to wear these shoes. The rhinestones on the front add a little sparkle to any outfit. I started my morning at the beach house for breakfast then headed back to Staten Island to make some phone calls to attorneys and homeowners to update them on the sale of their homes. Slithering Salmon Stunners

These peep toe pumps are made by GUESS and they were bought at Macy’s (one of the six pairs I got on sale). They are embossed with snake skin texture and there is a little G charm hanging on the buckle. I had to jam pack my schedule today so I started at 9:00AM on Bay Street and then Tompkins Ave at 10:00AM to list two rentals. I went to the fountains to take pictures of another condo that I am going to list soon and then I headed over to the office for a meeting with a new agent. I ran out for a quick minute to get my mom lunch and then headed over to New Dorp Lane for another listing appointment. I’m now back at the office making as many phone calls as I can before my next appointment. My phone has practically been glued to my ear trying to get back to everyone that has called me. I had a wonderful time down the shore with 2 of my very good friends today, unfortunately I also had to say good bye to my son who is going back to Arizona. I started my morning off showing my condo listed on Hylan Blvd. I spent most of my day at the office filling out paperwork for 3 new listings and speaking with several past customers who are looking to do business again. Beautiful in Beige

Loved them the minute I saw them on the 65% off sale rack at Macy’s, so of course on this hot summer day, these shoes are perfect. Early this morning, dropped my car off to check my A/C since I melted driving around without it being charged. Frank picked me up at the gas station; Jeff’s a great guy over at the shell station on Forest Avenue. Frank and I stopped at Met Food to pick up some cream of rice for his bad stomach virus. While at Met Food, met some people who are interested in selling their homes - looks like the first week of August we will have 2 great new houses to put on the market for your viewing pleasure.  We will keep you informed. It seems like a dog day of August already as everyone is moving a little bit slower but its only July 5^th and we have a lot of summer yet to come. Took my mom to lunch and ran some errands for her, put 3 signs up on my latest new listings, running back now to the station to pick up my car, set appointments for 4 houses to be shown this evening and then to meet a buyer at my listing on Cortelyou at 8:30 tonight. These heels were just meant to be. I was driving in the car with Frank and I was thinking about how I needed a red, white & blue pair of shoes for the Fourth of July. That same day I went into Macy’s and there they were staring me right in the face! I could not pass these up, and they were 30% off, what a steal. I have a sweet tooth today with these heels, bought at Macy's as part as that 30% off sale, these shoes have been busy all morning and I'm pooped. I started my day off with the owner of one of my rental properties and then headed over to New Dorp to get listing paperwork signed for this really beautiful 2 family hi-ranch, give me a call for more details 718-442-5200. I then had a walk-thru on Wiley Place and then put in For Sale Signs at the 2 listings I was telling you about yesterday. Closing for Wiley Place and then running to get contracts signed. You wouldn't believe it but my day still isn't over! I'm meeting a buyer at the office to take her over to Hylan Blvd to show condos with beautiful views of the city and the Verrazano Bridge. Dots All She Wrote

We’re having a heat wave and the hot weather calls for an easy breezy yet fashionable pump. Sounds good right? Well believe it or not, these shoes are really comfortable. They’re nice and light and you don’t even feel like you have them on. Polka dots are my favorite, or at least one of them. So, ten to 9 this morning, I was in my easy breezy shoes meeting with one of my homeowners up from Florida to discuss his magnificent 2 bedroom apartment with a Manhattan view and tons of living space. After that I scooted over to Demorest Avenue to show the all brick corner ranch, from there I came back to the office and made a few phone calls and filled out some listing papers with a great new listing in Bulls Head on Danny Court for $339,000 and a mint condition 3 bedroom townhouse style on Lyceum Court for $319,000. besides that, Nick in our office just listed a great house on Bodine $309,900 and Cindy listed a great house on Leeds Avenue in Oakwood for $385,000. At 1 o’clock I went over to the Kings Arms to meet with one of my homeowners whose home we closed 6 months ago and had a nice lunch. Came back to the office, picked up the key for Demorest, went back to show it again to new buyers. Ran back to the office, made some more phone calls, now meeting Frank for dinner and 3 more appointments so my night will be over about a quarter to nine.
